For working pet parents

You shouldn't have to choose between your job and your dog's day.

If any of this sounds like your week, you're not the only one. We started Lloyd's because we know there's a better answer than guilt — or another sketchy app booking.

The 9-hour stretch

Your dog hasn't been outside since 7 a.m. By 4 p.m. you're driving home a little anxious, hoping nothing got chewed up — or worse.

The new puppy reality

Crate training is going great — until the workday gets in the way. A tiny bladder needs more than two breaks a day to thrive.

The senior dog dilemma

An older dog needs medication mid-day, more potty breaks, and gentler care than they used to. And you can't always be there.

The app roulette

You've tried the apps. Different sitter every week, vague updates, and you're not even sure who has your house key.

Services & Pricing

Honest pricing, because guessing isn't a service.

Pick what fits your dog's day. Most families book recurring weekday visits, then add overnight care for trips.

How It Works

Three simple steps to peace of mind.

01

A free meet & greet

We come to your home, meet your pet, and learn the routines that matter — feeding times, favorite toys, that one specific cuddle spot. No pressure, no obligation.

02

Your custom care plan

We write down everything: feeding, walks, medication, vet info, emergency contacts. Nothing gets missed because nothing is left to memory.

03

Daily visits & updates

We show up on time, give your pet the attention they deserve, and send photos and notes after every visit. You'll feel like you never left.

About Us

We're Madi & Ethan — and we started Lloyd's for the kind of care we'd want for our own pets.

Madi has been caring for animals since she was a teenager — boarding, walking, training, and the occasional hand-fed sick puppy at 2 a.m. She's pet first aid certified and has worked with everything from Goldens to grumpy senior cats.

Ethan handles most of the daily visits, scheduling, and making sure every client gets a sitter who actually shows up when they say they will. Together, we run Lloyd's the way we'd want our own pet's sitter to operate: reliable, communicative, and warm — because that's the bar.

Common Questions

Everything you'd ask at the meet & greet.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Naperville, Wheaton, and Aurora, with a 15-minute service radius. If you're just outside that, send us a message — we may still be able to help.

Are you really insured and bonded?

Yes — we carry $2M in liability coverage and a dishonesty bond through Pet Sitters Associates. Both you and your home are protected. Happy to share our certificate at the meet & greet.

How do you handle keys to my home?

We strongly prefer lockboxes — they're the safest option for everyone. We'll bring a numbered, coded lockbox to your meet & greet, and the access code stays only with us. No floating keys, ever.

What if there's an emergency while I'm away?

Every client signs a vet release form authorizing emergency care up to a pre-approved limit. We have your vet's info on file, contact you immediately, and we're pet first aid certified for in-the-moment care.

Can you give my dog medication?

Yes. We administer oral medications, topicals, eye drops, and ear drops at no extra cost. Insulin and other injectables are available on request — just let us know during the meet & greet.

Do you take last-minute bookings?

We try our best, but we don't take new clients without a meet & greet first — that's how we keep the bar high for everyone. Existing clients can book same-day if our schedule allows.

What's your cancellation policy?

Cancel 24 hours ahead and there's no charge. Within 24 hours, we charge 50% of the visit. Holiday weeks (which book up fast) require 7 days' notice — full charge after that.
